I'm in California, doing some personal and business. It seems like I found artwork for my full-length. I'll probably get the discs duplicated so they look purty. I gotta start selling them sometime.

I'll be touring with my guitar teacher in August. We're road tripping to Colorado. It's gonna be nice. I actually have some freinds in Colorado that I haven't seen in mucho yearos. And I've always wanted to go to Colorado.

2nd year of Berklee is coming up -- let's hope I do better.

Berklee is officially kicking my butt.

It's ok, though. The welts will heal.

But this is my excuse for hardly updating. I'll try to get through this semester this week.

I've actually been writing a lot since I got here because I have to deal with music so often. And with these programs on these computers that they have us buy, I am getting a little crazy with poetry over synthesized music. I'm thinking about releasing some of that stuff eventually, but I just got started and am still in the beginning stages, so it may be a while.

How are you guys doing? I wanna hear about you! Leave a comment or e-mail me!

Long time no see.

Don't worry, I'm still alive. Life just threw me a huge curve recently so I've been out for a while.

News (that I have yet to post on the website -- bad julie!):

- I graduated (yay!)
- I'm going to Berklee (yay!!)
- I just recorded 4 songs in the studio (yay!!!)

I had a lot of fun in the studio with these songs. Hard work, but it just amazed me to see how much I've grown -- all these songs are pretty different from each other. One song has a godsmack-vibe to it (co-written with my freind Rick), another one has a jazz vibe (I used to HATE jazz!), Another one kinda sounds like Sheryl Crow's 'Soak up the Sun', and the last one is just a fun song I made up at camp with a fun marching band kinda beat to it, thanks to the awesome drummer dude, Anthony.

I'm also trying to get ready to be out on my own -- needs to happen soon. I think when you're 24 you gotta be independent as far as insurance and all that stuff. Right now I'm 22, and it's totally possible I'll be going insane with real life stuff while I'm in Berklee.

To prep. for Berklee I'm doing lots of workshops, some @ Berklee, one @ Common Ground on the hill. Gonna learn the theory stuff, playing stuff, recording stuff. I'm really excited about 2 classes I'm gonna end up taking: Hawaiian guitar and Icelandic Singing. Really hoping to widen my musical taste, abilities and everything.

It's late, and I go mix my songs on monday in the studio, so I'm gonna go. Hope you guys are doing well and having awesome summers!

It's unusually early for a musician. But a first post needed to happen at some point, so here it is:

I'm really hyped to have an online journal now and be able to talk to other musicians and people about, well, anything.

I tend not to bite, so feel free to get to know me on this crazy little LJ-thing.

I'm negotiating my first gig of the semester at Charlie's Coffeehouse in Selinsgrove, PA. So if you're reading this, and you know of any places I could possibly play, hook a sister up. I plan to be a troubadour. Na na na na na na.
